All A's: An all "A" puppy is dominant, bright and interactive. Raising him will take consistency and prior dog experience. He is resilient and bold.
All N's: Easy going and contained, this puppy will be pleasant and self-assured. He may not be terribly motivated to follow your agenda when it conflicts with his own, but he is more resilient that an NP puppy and won't hold a grudge after a negative experience.
All P's: This puppy has a weak self-esteem and needs your reassurance to feel safe. He will do best in a calm home, and is well suited for a retiree/empty nesters, someone who is home often. He has amazing potential to become a gentle, loving, and devoted companion. But only if his owner is committed to providing consistent and positive socialization very early in life. Without this, he'll certainly be shy.
***Keep in mind, the mixed descriptions below are assuming a 50/50 mix. A pup that has 1 P and remaining N's will lean more similar to a "All N" pup than an "NP" pup.***
Mix of A and N's: This puppy will want to be an active participant in your family, and is well suited for a bustling household. He is up for anything, but shows more impulse control than an "All A" puppy, and will look to you for leadership rather than compete you for it. Consistent expectations and boundaries are important for all puppies, but especially a pup with many A's.
Mix of N and P's: This puppy will be go with the flow and is well suited for an average to calm household. An NP pup will have a stronger sense of self than a completely passive puppy, but early socialization and positive experiences are still very important.

6 Weeks:
Mr. Green: Prince Charming! This handsome hunk's temperament is still holding true to his 5 week summary. He is the definition of a happy boy! He is a friend to all, never met a stranger, playful with puppies and humans alike. He approaches life without a worry in the world, and will make a fantastic dog for an active family. Because Green is an "NA" (leaning N) puppy, he may test your patience a little more than a more passive puppy, however, he will be less prone to shyness and likely won't hold much of a grudge if he has a negative experience. This little ham is ready to be the center of your family's attention!
Ms. Pink: Ms. Pink has probably changed the most this week out of all of the babies. While she is still a spunky, sassy girl when in her comfort zone, she is an intelligent puppy who is rapidly becoming aware of the world around her. Big new experiences bring forth big feelings for this smart (aka overthinking) girlie! The "first time outside" video is a good example. Pinky was unsure and clingy for the first few minutes before her tail went back up and she began to explore. It is important to make sure that your puppy gets positive exposure to as many new things as possible during puppyhood (particularly between 8-12 weeks of age), as an "NP" puppy, this will be especially important for Pink. If she is properly socialized, she will thrive in a family environment or in a retired/empty nester home.
Ms. Yellow: Ms. Yellow is an easy going, happy pup with a middle-of-the-road demeanor. She isn't overly excitable, but enjoys playtime and toys. She is showing signs of being a "fetcher" already. While she enjoys snuggle/cuddle time, she can also keep herself amused and play independently. She isn't as clingy/touchy/feely as the two boys in this litter, but still enjoys falling asleep on my lap. It is important to make sure that your puppy gets positive exposure to as many new things as possible during puppyhood (particularly between 8-12 weeks of age), as an "NP" puppy, this will be especially important for Yellow. She will make a lovely dog for a family or retired/empty nester home.
Ms. Purple: Ms. Purple is a doll-baby! Her red curls and big brown eyes will melt your heart, and I often catch her sitting politely, staring up right at me with the cutest little head tilt! A true sweetheart of a pup who reminds me of her mother Toula. Purple is a soft, gentle puppy who sometimes needs assurance from you when outside her comfort zone. If she is properly socialized, she will thrive in a family environment, or in a retired/empty nester home.
Mr. Blue: Mr. Blue is simply a delight, and somehow getting cuter each week! He is a softer version of Mr. Green, happy to hang out and has never met a stranger... but with a bit less energy than his big brother. He is very expressive and engaging, everyone who meets Blue feels a tug at their heartstrings. As a primarily "N" puppy, He will thrive in a family environment, or in a retired/empty nester home. Blue would do especially well as a treasured companion for someone who is home often (or wants to take him with them)! He is certainly a travel-sized little guy!

5 Weeks:
Oh my, what a change one week can make! Toula's fabulous five have gotten much more active and are starting to blossom. This litter is a little behind the curb from a development standpoint (not unusual for our smaller sized litters), so we have opted to wait until they are 9 weeks before they join their new home. We have scheduled their vet exam for January 16th (7.5 wks instead of our usual 6.5 wks) so they will be a little larger for their first vaccine. Personalities are becoming more pronounced as each day passes. More pictures and videos are to come over the next 10 days, so stay tuned.
Mr. Green: You will never meet a happier pup that Mr. Green. He simply enjoys life and happily hangs out with you, whether it is time for play or cuddles, he is happy to be part of it. Mr. Green hasn't met a stranger yet, he greets people and dogs alike with a wagging tail and twinkling eyes. He is the best friend of each sibling in his litter and is a bit of a clumsy clown when playing.
Ms. Pink: Pinky is a ball of energy and enthusiasm! She enjoys wrestling with her siblings and has found her voice this week, she has greeted me the last three mornings with a happy little yodel until I acknowledge her. She enjoys giving kisses, and gets so excited whenever a dog enters the room. She is bright and intelligent, and absolutely adorable!
Ms. Yellow: Our little sunflower! Yellow is a soft and gentle sweetheart. She has expressive eyes and is our middle-of-the-road pup within this litter, playful but not hyper, engaging but not clingy. She has a happy wagging tail, and follows me cheerfully when I am in the puppy pen, often falling asleep in my lap!
Ms. Purple: Purple girl is gaining confidence by the day, and is smart as a whip! She looks right in your eyes when you speak to her, and will tilt her head at unusual sounds. She is a mama's girl and follows Toula everywhere. She often sleeps curled up under Toula's ear or chin, a loyal babe!
Mr. Blue: Oh my "Little Bluey" is winning the heart of everyone he meets. This little guy is full of sugar and kisses (so many kisses)! He is a soft and gentle pup who will thrive with a loving family that wants a constant companion to spoil and be by their side. He has a very endearing personality.

4 Weeks:
Toula's precious 5 are coming out of there shell! Please keep in mind that it is too early for accurate temperament evaluations, but we will share what we have found with each puppy this week.
Mr. Green and Ms. Pink are the early bloomers/firecrackers, faster and stronger than their siblings and more adventurous this week, also the two largest so far (still tiny)! Both are Sassy and interested in new things.
Ms. Yellow is the middle pup both in size and within the dynamic of this itty bitty "pack," she is active enough to stick with Green and Pink with some effort, but not quite as coordinated with skills (like walking) yet!
Purple is close behind Yellow, but a little more sensitive, she often waits for mommy Toula to reassure her before exploring, a real sweetheart.
Our precious tiny, spoiled boy is Blue! The smallest "little brother" of the group means he has gotten a little extra attention as he has grown. He loves being held and sometimes snoozes in my apron pocket. He isn't quite strong enough to keep up with the "big boy" Green but seems to idolize his larger brother, and even crawls on top of him to sleep! Keep an eye out in the video when he tugs on his blanky, it is the first time I have seen anyone do that from this group!
All babies are very much in the toddler stage, changing daily. I have found their temperament at this age to be more influenced by their size within the litter, and coordination/walking ability, rather than their true lasting personality. Regardless, every single one is cute as a button and already so sweet, pawing for attention and wagging tails at my voice! I am so pleased so far.
Happy Holidays everyone!

3 Weeks:
Babies are three weeks old! They have all opened their eyes. They are beginning to respond to the noise and movement around them (hence no flash photos this week)! They are not walking yet, but they can get their feet under them and sit up like Ms. Purple so adorably demonstrated in her picture. Toula continues to be a loving mother, but is venturing from her den for short periods to cuddle with her human family, and take short breaks from nursing her hungry brood. They will experience their first big move this week, from their whelping den to a puppy pen that will include a potty area and a bed, which will slowly expand as they grow.

Formally Introducing:
Mr. Green, Ms. Pink, Ms. Yellow, Ms. Purple, and Mr. Blue
Babies are two weeks old! So far no eyes open yet, but expecting this soon. Life is all about eating and sleeping at this time. We are so proud of Toula, she is a natural mother, just like her mother grandmother, and great grandmother (all Red Spring Farm dogs)! We are thrilled to have another generation arrive and anxious to "meet" them as their personalities develop in the coming weeks.

Toula is an amazing and very attentive mother! She doesn't want them out of her sight and whimpers when I handle her babies for ENS. All are gaining weight rapidly. We have assigned colors to each one.
Toula gave birth to 5 healthy babies born 5 days early on 11/23/2025!
2 boys, 3 girls. All are nursing and healthy.
