5th Pupdate:
Addie and Sadie's litters have started interacting together this week, and are now all together almost full time! They have had a big week with all sorts of new experiences, including play time with new people of all ages, meeting new adult dogs (safe/vaccinated), 2 car rides, getting their toes wet in a pool, meeting a cat, and meeting our chickens! They are spending more time out on the puppy patio and will continue to do so daily (weather permitting) until they join their new home. This litter was a little harder to do individual pupdates on because many of these pups are quite similar!
One little thing that I want to note... several of these puppies are naturally very small (ex. Yellow, Pink, Aqua). Little bitty pups tend to go through a phase around this time where they don't look quite as balanced as some of our larger puppies. Small petite pups have such little bodies and faces that they can look a bit "dwarfy", and their little ears sometimes stick out or up rather than lay flat (have you noticed little Yellow's airplane ears? I can't help but chuckle at her, Boone had ears like her as a puppy). Tear stains from teething are also more noticeable, as they are so much smaller, so it only takes a little bit of tearing to notice it. Below the pupdates, I am going to include a few example photos of a very small petite pup as she grew.
Ms. Yellow: This little girl is ready to be the life of the party! She is extremely affectionate and playful, and very much wants to be right with you. She is going to be a snuggler! Pretty much all pups in this litter rated to have primarily neutral temperaments (leaning slightly passive). 1lb 7oz
Ms. Orange: -This beautiful girl prefers calm pets to active play. She thrives with praise, and has a strong drive to please. Pretty much all pups in this litter rated to have primarily neutral temperaments (leaning slightly passive), this girl is definitely a true passive/neutral pup that will thrive with a little confidence building. 2lb 5oz
Ms. Purple: Talk about a BIG personality in a little body, Purple is a sassy girl with an active, intelligent personality. She is playful and isn't clingy, she is confident enough to adventure and explore away from the others. Pretty much all pups in this litter rated to have primarily neutral temperaments (leaning slightly passive). 1lb 9oz
Ms. Pink: Officially the smallest little pup in the litter, Ms. Pink melts the heart of everyone who interacts with her. She is very affectionate and cuddly, while also being playful! Pretty much all pups in this litter rated to have primarily neutral temperaments (leaning slightly passive). 1lb 4oz
Ms. Aqua: This gentle little gal is going to be super attached to her future family. She loves to be held and snuggled, and will happily sit on your lap or melt in your arms while the other puppies play (though she doesn't hold back when playing with the "big pups" when cuddling isn't an option). There is no question about it- this girl is 100% all about snuggle time. Pretty much all pups in this litter rated to have primarily neutral temperaments (leaning slightly passive). 1lb 5oz
Mr. Red: This beautiful boy reminds me SO much of his daddy, Boone (just a little larger). He has a great, soft, fleece wavy coat and a beautiful, blocky little face. He is a middle of the road kind of guy, happy to play or happy to just hang out. He is a very affectionate pup who makes good eye contact. Pretty much all pups in this litter rated to have primarily neutral temperaments (leaning slightly passive). 2lb
Mr. Green: This handsome guy is the biggest in this bunch, but he will still land in the petite size range as an adult. He is a happy go lucky, easy guy that likes to play with his siblings... but will settle down right between your feet once he tires out. He loves people and attention. Pretty much all pups in this litter rated to have primarily neutral temperaments (leaning slightly passive). 2lb 4oz
Mr. Blue: The smallest of the boys- but with a huge heart! Mr. Blue is about as cute as they come! He is a cuddly boy that wants to give anyone he is with lots of kisses. He makes good eye contact already and likes to try and crawl up to "perch" on your shoulder. Pretty much all pups in this litter rated to have primarily neutral temperaments (leaning slightly passive). 1lb 8oz

Vet Exam Information:
These babies are SO little that we decided to hold of no their vet visit (and 1st vaccines) until July 6th. This gives them a little more time to grow up before being vaccinated. We will post at the bottom of this section once they get their exams. Our vet is EXTREMELY thorough, which we love. He makes a point to note everything about each pup after a thorough examination. We describe puppy vet exams in three different ways... perfect, normal, or abnormal.
A perfect exam is what it sounds like, it means that the vet didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, and so no notes are made on that pup's record sheet. It is unusual for every pup in a litter to get a perfect vet exam.
A normal exam is when a pup has something worth noting, but it is not expected to impact the health of the pup, or quality as a pet. It is not unusual for puppies to have imperfect exams at this age. They are growing at a rapid pace, and this sometimes results in awkward phases. In fact, sometimes we have more pups in a litter with "normal" exams than "perfect" exams! Normal exam findings generally correct themselves with age, or (in the case of an umbilical hernia) may need a very simple correction at the time of spay/neuter. Examples of imperfect, but normal puppy exams include a small under or overbite, a small umbilical hernia, an low grade heart murmur (which is expected to go away as the pup grows), or a missing a testicle (sometimes they don't both "drop" until a pup is older). We will ALWAYS notify you of any such things at the first vet visit, and you are NOT required to take a pup that you do not feel comfortable with due to any exam finding, even if it is a somewhat normal finding for a growing pup. We will only allow pups to go home if we feel comfortable that the issue is benign or will go away with age.
Abnormal exams are when pups have an exam that concerns us for their long term health. An example of this would be severe patellar luxation (extremely loose knee joints- very different than typical puppy laxity), a loud heart murmur (ex, 4 out of 6), cataracts, etc. In these situations, where the severity of the issue in question may impact their long term health, we "pull" the puppy from the reservation list and they are no longer available until we can either wait for the next exam of have the pup checked by a specialist, depending on the issue. We have been very blessed in that every single pup we have ever had to pull from a list due to an abnormal exam has ended up being just fine and the condition went away with age! Still- we don't let pups go to new homes until we are comfortable that they can live normal, happy lives.

All A's: This dominant puppy is extremely bright and interactive. Raising him will take concentration, consistency and time and an experienced owner is recommended. They can be extremely rewarding pets for someone who wants to have a highly trained companion or competition dog of some sort (Agility, dock diving, etc).
All N's: Easy going and contained, "All N" puppies will be pleasant and an ideal pet for most families. These middle-of-the-road pups are confident enough that they won't live for their owner's approval and guidance like a "P" puppy would (N pups can be stubborn at times) but they won't be as defiant as an "A" puppy can be.
All P's: This puppy has a weak self-esteem and needs your reassurance to feel safe. Without proper lessons and socialization, he'll be shy. With proper socializing, "P" pups can "built up" to make excellent family dogs and tend to be very attached to their owners.
Mix of A and N's: This active puppy will want to be in the middle of everything but will show more impulse control when stimulated than an all "A" puppy. "A/N" puppies are great for loud/active families that want a pup with lots of personality and confidence, but that are not nearly as intense as "all A" puppies.
Mix of N and P's: This self-assured puppy will be easygoing and gentle yet with a stronger sense of self than a completely passive puppy. Because he's more composed, he'll be an ideal puppy for a calm household.

4th Pupdate:
Written 6/13 and pics/video taken 6/14. I didn't hit "publish" so the website didn't update.
Addie's toddlers are growing up FAST! They have started to use the potty grid and are doing so well. They LOVE playtime outdoors, and this very well may be one of the smallest litters we have had size-wize. They are SO cute and tiny. This is a very outgoing, playful litter and they love people and attention. Their big personalities are shining through, and this whole litter is very affectionate and happy... so sweet!
Ms. Yellow: 1lb 1oz This silly girl loves, loves attention! She wants to be touching someone (or preferably on your lap) at all times. She is going to be a small little girl.
Ms. Orange: 1lb 5oz This laid back sweetie is an independent girl who will "check in" for a quick snuggle before venturing back out to explore.
Ms. Purple: 1lb 2oz This playful girl is a happy go lucky, loving little one who craves affection and attention.
Ms. Pink: 1lb This teeny little curly girl takes your breath away, she is so darn cute. She is a love bug and really loves to be cuddled. She is going to be a small little girl.
Ms. Aqua: 1lb What a little sweetheart! The older she gets, the curlier she gets. She has the most precious little puppy eyes and makes good eye contact (she knows how to melt hearts)! She is very affectionate.
Mr. Red: 1lb 4oz This handsome hunk is a smart boy that loves play time. Like all of his siblings, he is very interactive and affectionate towards people.
Mr. Green: 1lb 6oz The "big boy" (who will still be quite small/in the expected weight range). Mr. Green is a handsome boy with a pleasant, laid back demeanor.
Mr. Blue: 1lb 5oz This happy to lucky boy is a little guy with a big heart. He is a sweet, loving boy who just wants to hang with you and be petted/cuddled. He gets along with everyone.
