This litter has been a blast and a handful this week as they begin to explore everything! They are getting really playful. Everyone at the vet was oohing and aahing over how pretty and affectionate they were (they gave cuddles and kisses to everyone)! It has been extremely difficult for me to describe the personality differences between each pup in this group because this is a VERY balanced litter. All pups are very neutral/middle of the road, not leaning overly passive, and their aren't any firecrackers in this group either. This is awesome news- this means that they should do well in just about any typical family atmosphere.
*We have had questions about spotty noses. The nose color of these pups WILL fill in over time. If a pup has white markings on the face, it takes a little more time. Most pups will have full or nearly full nose pigment within a couple months of joining their new home.
Puppy Selection Information: Selection is really easy for this litter! I just need one family, the Stephen's family, to email me their choice (between Pink and Yellow) by the end of the day on Saturday. I will post the results next to each family name on the reservation list above once I have it. If ANYONE has questions or concerns, please reach out and I will be available to chat Friday afternoon or anytime Saturday.
Ms. Pink: Ms. Pink is likely going to be the smallest pup in this litter when full grown, but she holds her own just fine. She is feisty and likes to explore... but will find herself one your lap for a nap after adventures. She doesn't walk or run, she struts and prances! Such a cutie. Ms. Pink is 1.8lb and appears to be wavy coated. She scored primarily neutral on her temperament testing, and had a perfect vet exam.
Ms. Yellow: Ms. Yellow is the sweetheart of the bunch. She is very expressive and makes good eye contact already. She is gentle when playing, and loves to be scratched behind her ears (she will thank you with a kiss on the nose). Ms. Yellow is 1.6lb (note, despite weighing less than Pink right now, we expect she will be taller. She has been more interested in cuddles and playtime than food this week). She appears to be wavy coated. She scored primarily neutral on her temperament testing, and had a perfect vet exam.
Ms. Purple: THIS PUPPY HAS BEEN RESERVED BY RED SPRING FARM 2.2lb
Mr. Green: THIS PUPPY HAS BEEN RESERVED BY RED SPRING FARM 2lb
Mr. Blue: Mr. Blue is a loving, cuddly and attached boy that is very people-oriented. He can't wait to be someone's shadow and best friend. He lives for scratches and attention. He is the largest pup in the bunch, but still quite small at 2.5lb. He appears to be wavy coated, and scored primarily neutral on his temperament testing. Mr. Blue had a perfect vet exam.
Mr. Red: Mr. Red is SO handsome and such a personable little guy! He is extremely expressive, tilting his head at times when you talk to him as if he is listening. He uses his paws a lot when asking for attention and to explore the world around him, which is absolutely endearing. His baby blue eyes are striking. Mr. Red is 2.3lb and wavy coated. He scored primarily neutral on temperament testing and had a perfect vet exam.

All A's: This dominant puppy is extremely bright and interactive. Raising him will take concentration, consistency and time and an experienced owner is recommended. They can be extremely rewarding pets for someone who wants to have a highly trained companion or competition dog of some sort (Agility, dock diving, etc).
All N's: Easy going and contained, "All N" puppies will be pleasant and an ideal pet for most families. These middle-of-the-road pups are confident enough that they won't live for their owner's approval and guidance like a "P" puppy would (N pups can be stubborn at times) but they won't be as defiant as an "A" puppy can be.
All P's: This puppy has a weak self-esteem and needs your reassurance to feel safe. Without proper lessons and socialization, he'll be shy. With proper socializing, "P" pups can "built up" to make excellent family dogs and tend to be very attached to their owners.
Mix of A and N's: This active puppy will want to be in the middle of everything but will show more impulse control when stimulated than an all "A" puppy. "A/N" puppies are great for loud/active families that want a pup with lots of personality and confidence, but that are not nearly as intense as "all A" puppies.
Mix of N and P's: This self-assured puppy will be easygoing and gentle yet with a stronger sense of self than a completely passive puppy. Because he's more composed, he'll be an ideal puppy for a calm household.
