Weekly "Pupdates" are posted below on Fridays by 5PM The 1, 2, 3 & 4 Week Pupdates will include weights and a general litter update. At 4 Weeks, ID collars go on the pups (prior to this we avoid any sort of collar or color coding dye for their safety). The 5 & 6 Week Pupdates will include weights and brief description of each pup as their personality emerges. The 7 Week (Final) Pupdate will include weights, personality descriptions, temperament testing, and vet checkup results.

7th Pupdate/Vet Results
Ms. Purple: 3lb 2oz: This sweet, cuddly, curly girl is a sweet lap puppy! She is independent enough to leave you to play with her siblings, but the moment they are too rough or she tires out, she will crawl into your lap for nap time. Ms. Purple had a perfect vet exam! Ms. Yellow: 3lbs 14oz: Ms. Yellow is a beautiful, wavy coated girl! She is a playful goofball (have you noticed that she is ALWAYS the puppy sleeping upside down). She really loves interacting with canine and human friends alike, and is an intelligent pup. Ms. Yellow had a perfect vet exam! Mr. Blue: 2lb 8oz: Aren't the smallest pups in the litter extra adorable? He has lost a small amount of weight weaning, but this is typical and we expect he will be back on track this week. This handsome, curly fella has mastered the "puppy eyes" and is a little lover. Don't let him full you, though, he doesn't let his size slow him down and he wrestles and plays with his siblings as if he were just as big. Mr. Blue had a perfect vet exam! Ms. Pink: 4lb 0oz: Ms. Pink is a wavy coated sweetheart! She has the heart of a golden retriever <3! This pretty girl is about as loving as they come. She adores all people and will give you kisses as long as you will let her. She loves other dogs too. Ms. Pink had a normal vet exam with the exception of a very small umbilical hernia, which occurs when the site of the umbilical cord doesn't fully close after birth. Umbilical hernias are relatively common in puppies, and hers is very tiny (it looks like an "outie" belly button. My vet does not recommend any action to be taken at this time. When she is spayed, they can repair it (umbilical hernia repair fees at the time of spay are typically $15-$75, and we will reimburse that extra fee). If you are considering Ms. Pink and want additional information, let me know. Mr. Green: 3lb 9oz: This boy is a handsome, curly coated, loving little gentleman! He is a really fun little guy and has a playful, outgoing temperament. He is going to get very attached to his family, as he LOVES interacting with people. I hope you like cuddles- because this boy lives for giving cuddles and kisses. Mr. Green had a perfect vet exam! Mr. Red: 4lb 8oz: This sweet boy is an easy going lover. He is a big boy who really doesn't know it, my vet said he was just a big teddy bear and that was a great description. I expect this fella will land on the high end of the expected weight range so make sure that you are okay with a bigger lad if you take this hunk on! Mr. Red had a perfect vet exam! Ms. Orange: 4lb 11oz: SELECTED BY RED SPRING FARM - This golden girl is a spunky little lover. Her tail is always going and she has a happy disposition. Ms. Orange had a perfect vet exam!

All A's: This dominant puppy is bright and interactive. Raising him will take concentration, consistency and time. His favorite expression is "What's Next!"
All N's: Easy going and contained, this puppy will be pleasant and self-assured, though perhaps not terribly motivated to follow your agenda when it conflicts with his own. His favorite expression is "Is it absolutely necessary?"
All P's: This puppy has a weak self-esteem and needs your reassurance to feel safe. Without proper lessons and socialization, he'll be shy. His favorite expression: "It's been 3 minutes, do you still love me?" Mix of A and N's: This active puppy will want to be in the middle of everything but will show slightly more impulse control when stimulated. His favorite expression is: "Let's do it again"
Mix of N and P's: This self-assured puppy will be easygoing and gentle yet with a stronger sense of self than a completely passive puppy. Because he's more composed, he'll be an ideal puppy for a calm house with or without older children. Favorite expression: "Another back scratching please!"

Daisy's litter is rocking and rolling! They have been exploring our puppy room and meeting the other dogs in our pack, especially in the last 3 days. They have also been eating kibble (way to go puppies)! They will be moving to a weaning pen today, which will give their mommy a well earned break while they transition to solid food full time. Ms. Purple: 2lb 14oz: This sweet girl is a little more independent than her "twin" Mr. Blue, but she is still very cuddly. She likes to follow my around while I do chores. Ms. Yellow: 3lbs 6oz: This girl has calmed down a bit this week, but still loves to explore and is SOOO happy! Her little tail is always wagging. Mr. Blue: 2lb 11oz: This boy is so sweet and cuddly! He is by far the cuddliest in the group, and very curious about new toys. Ms. Pink: 3lb 10oz: A little LOVER, this girl is a sweetheart! She has the sweetest puppy eyes and will kiss you when you give her attention. Mr. Green: 3lb 5oz: This boy is stunning! He is a confident, playful boy, but settles down nicely for a cuddle too! Mr. Red: 3lb 11oz: What a handsome chunk! This easy going boy was a perfect poser for photos this week- what a ham. Ms. Orange: 3lb 13oz: This easy going girl is a momma's baby, she follows her mom around and even went out the doggy door chasing after her today. She is gentle and inquisitive.

This is going to be a BIG week for Daisy's litter! They are doing GREAT with potty training boot camp and we are going to be expanding their pen significantly this week to give them room to stretch their legs and start interacting with toys and new textures. Ms. Purple: 2lb 4oz: I like to think of this girl and Mr. Blue as twins, they are SO similar (well, I guess they technically are). Both pups are sweet, cuddly, and definitely going to be smaller in size as an adult than the others. Ms. Yellow: 2lbs 13oz: This girl is a firecracker! She hits the ground running and is ready for an adventure. Mr. Blue: 2lb 4oz: I like to think of this boy and Ms. Purple as twins, they are SO similar (well, I guess they technically are). Both pups are sweet, cuddly, and definitely going to be smaller in size as an adult than the others. Ms. Pink: 2lb 15oz: I think we have an extra smart one! This girlie is thoughtful and makes good eye contact already. Mr. Green: 2lb 13oz: What a sweetheart, Mr. Green is a playful cuddle monster, middle of the road personality within the litter. Mr. Red: 3lb 1oz: This hunky fella is happy and has a great, middle of the road personality. Ms. Orange: 3lb 3oz: This precious girl is the biggest in the bunch, but she sure doesn't know it. She is easy going and happy to let the others do the exploring first.

Happy Birthday - 9/14/19
Daisy delivered 8 beautiful babies! She had 4 boys and 4 girls. All are primarily red/apricot in color, a few have white markings on their chest and 1 has a blaze on her face. We have one special little runt in the litter, Mr. Black. He appears healthy, but he is significantly smaller and weaker than his sibling and will need special care. Please keep this little fella in your thoughts as the next few days are critical. It appears that we have a good mixture of curly and wavy coat types- we will update weights, photos, our estimated coat type for each pup, and start live streaming this litter's camera on Monday.
*Update- unfortunately Mr. Black passed away on Monday. After two days of trying, we decided to withdrawal care so that he would no longer suffer. This happens from time to time within a litter, but it is always extremely sad. Thanks for your patience with us getting the puppy photos posted!
