We understand that you want to know where you puppy comes from and the environment it is raised in. We would love to have a transparent, open door policy where you could visit any time you would like. Unfortunately, due to recent outbreaks of parvo and canine respiratory illnesses, this is simply not safe for the puppies in our care. We now limit the number of visitors in our home, only allowing deposit holders to come on take home day only. In lieu of in-person visits, we hope to provide you with the next best thing.... we provide our families with full access to a live-stream camera of our litters until puppy selection day. You get to see the good and bad with us (it can be a messy job), and you will get to know each puppy in depth to help you select your pup. We think this beats a one hour visit!
Puppy selections are done in the order of deposit. You will use the pupdates, photos, videos, vet exam results, and temperament testing provided on that litter's page to make your decision. Of course I am available to discuss any additional questions at any time. Selections take place the day after puppies go to their first vet exam, around 7 weeks of age, the exact date is listed on the litter page. Each family must make a "pick list" from their first pick to last pick in the litter, and email it to me no later than 6PM on selection day. Once we have received everyone's "pick list", we will start with the first family on the reservation list and assign the available puppy that is highest on their "pick list." We then move on to the next family and repeat until all families have a puppy!
*We recommend that you start discussing your "Pick List" with your family right after the 6th pupdate- this gives you a week to perfect your list, and the pups are old enough to show us some of their personalities :)
If you fail to submit your selection list and cannot be contacted, this will result in your name being moved to the bottom of the reservation list. This date is posted well in advance on the litter page and it is your responsibility to reach out to us with your decision!
