Personality Pupdates
5/18/18

Ms. Yellow: RETAINED (Confident, outgoing, happy)!
Mr. Blue: Mr. Blue is the most outgoing pup in the litter! He is a very confident, energetic, and playful. He is most definitely going to be on the large end of the estimated weight range, he is about 1/2 pound heavier than his siblings. He has a blocky head and build, and has a gorgeous thick curly coat. He is very attached to all people (I would describe him as a "velcro" pup) and would be happiest as a companion for a family who wants to spend a lot of time with their dog.
Ms. Pink: Pink gal is a confident, outgoing pup who is just as happy being scratched on her belly as she is playing chase with the other puppies! She will do well in an active household with or without children, and would be just fine with other pets in the home. She has a super thick, plush coat with curls all about. She will likely end up on the mid/high end of the expected weight range.
Ms. Purple: Purple gal is a happy little sweetheart. She makes great eye contact (she has mastered the puppy eyes) and will simply sit and stare into your soul if she wants attention or cuddles. She will do well in a small family household or with a single person. I expect that she will bond deeply with "her" people. She has a deep colored, loose curls and I expect that she will end up  on the smaller/mid side of the expected weight range.
Mr. Orange: Mr. Orange is an outgoing little sweetheart. He will do well in a small family household or with a single person. He really loves cuddles and attention, he actively seeks human contact and lives to be held. He has lovely soft curls and I expect that he will end up  on the smaller/mid side of the expected weight range.

All A's: This dominant puppy is bright and interactive. Raising him will take
concentration, consistency and time. His favorite expression is "What's Next!"

All N's: Easy going and contained, this puppy will be pleasant and self-assured, though
perhaps not terribly motivated to follow your agenda when it conflicts with his own. His
favorite expression is "Is it absolutely necessary?"

All P's: This puppy has a weak self-esteem and needs your reassurance to feel safe.
Without proper lessons and socialization, he'll be shy. His favorite expression: "It's been
3 minutes, do you still love me?"

Mix of A and N's: This active puppy will want to be in the middle of everything but will
show slightly more impulse control when stimulated. His favorite expression is: "Let's do
it again"

Mix of N and P's: This self-assured puppy will be easygoing and gentle yet with a
stronger sense of self than a completely passive puppy. Because he's more composed,
he'll be an ideal puppy for a calm house with or without older children. Favorite
expression: "Another back scratching please!"

05.11.18 -5 Weeks

The Fabulous Five are up and MOVING!

Ms. Yellow: Yellow collar girl shows how much a pup can change in a week. She went from being one of the most reserved puppies in the litter to the most outgoing. The second she sees a person she "prances" right in their direction!

Mr. Blue: Blue collar boy a chunky little lover! He is so sweet and absolutely loves cuddles. When you hold him upside down he immediately relaxed and is ready for kisses and a nap!

Ms. Pink: Pink collar girl is confident and cuddly! She loves to play follow the leader and marches right behind me where ever I go in the dog room. She has no fear of the adult dogs.

Ms. Purple: Purple collar girl is the sweetie pie of this litter! She is a petite little gal and absolutely showers people with love any chance she gets. Be careful... she is already mastering those puppy dog eyes.

Mr. Orange: Orange collar boy is a little ham! He is full of personality, and despite being a little guy, he is always ready for an adventure. When I am working at my desk and the puppies are out playing, he will fall asleep on  my foot.

04.27.18 - 3 Weeks

The Fabulous Five have grown SO fast this week! They are beginning to really explore, and will be exposed to solid food this week (mom will continue to feed them as well). Mommy is doing very well!

Ms. Yellow: Yellow collar girl is (slightly) more reserved than her littermates. This may change over time. She is thoughtful and intuitive.

Mr. Blue: Blue collar boy is the chunk in the litter (but only by a few grams)! He is going to have a gorgeous thick coat, as he is already covered in ringlets.

Ms. Pink: Pink collar girl weighs just a few grams less than Mr. Blue. She has a great blocky head and loves to explore.

Ms. Purple: Purple collar girl is right in the middle of this litter in every way, including her size and temperament. She likes cuddles!

Mr. Orange: Orange collar boy is a hoot. He is very proud of his ability to toddle and motors around the whelping box. He likes to sit up, eyes wide open, and take in his surroundings.

04.20.18 - Eye Opener!

Miss Stella's Fab Five litter is doing well! All pups are fat little butter balls and growing fast! Mommy Stella is doing exceptionally well and has really taken to motherhood (remember, this is her first litter)! Everyone is beginning to open their eyes, and soon they will begin to explore the visual world. So far, their ears are still sealed, though I expect they will begin to hear soon as well.  Hold on tight, things start to speed up from here! It is going to be a wild ride from now until June 2nd!

04.06.18 - Happy Birthday Babies!

Miss Stella woke me up at 5:15 AM this morning by pawing my hand. This was her first delivery, but she seemed to know exactly what to do! Mommy is doing well. Introducing Stella's "Fabulous Five"...

Ms. Pink: Pink collar girl was born shortly after her older brother, at 9:57 AM. She arrived like a super pup: feet forward and head first. Ms. Pink weighs in at 282 grams. Pink is a little lighter in color than the rest, and she has a gorgeous blocky head, she is going to be beautiful.

Ms. Purple: Purple collar girl came into this world without one peep... I was washing dishes while mom labored, and  when I glanced over, she had already arrived! Miss Purple is red with a white marking in the middle of her forehead. She weighs in at 237 grams and was born at 10:15 AM.
